What is the Environment Agency's Premises Notification Code and do I need one?


Essentially the PNC is a database for the Environment Agency to identify who produces hazardous waste, when it was collected (and by whom) and eventually how it was treated and where. If you produce more than 500kg or litres of hazardous waste per year the chances are you will need to register, but for more information please visit our Hazardous Waste Regulations page.
