Printed Packaging Waste Disposal

A leading printed packaging company based in the South East has signed up All Waste Matters for 2 years to handle all of their hazardous waste disposal requirements.

Upon contacting All Waste Matters a WAMITAB trained representative called in to carry out a free waste audit, with the purpose of identifying all hazardous waste produced that could be recycled and to advise on the best practices for storage and segregation of the various hazardous wastes. He was also able to help implement a waste minimisation program to actually reduce the amount of hazardous waste produced in the printing packaging process.

Following this visit a fixed price for 2 years quotation was supplied for all their hazardous waste recycling, complete with free storage solutions for the various waste streams.

A delighted spokesperson for the company stated: “To fulfil our duty of care to our ever growing customer base we felt we really had to take a look at our hazardous waste disposal. Prospective and existing clients have become more demanding in recent years to know that their products are created in the most Environmentally friendly way possible and we felt demonstrating our hazardous waste recycling commitments needed to be a priority. Of course in the current climate it’s all too easy to simply concentrate on increasing sales, but we have also found that by using All Waste Matters for our hazardous waste disposal we have saved a small fortune allowing us to pass these savings on to our clients.”

Electroplating Waste Solution

A leading electroplating company has greatly increased their precious metal returns by choosing All Waste Matters for their plating solution disposal.

Both silver electroplating solutions and gold electroplating solutions can still contain large quantities of dissolved precious metals which needs to be recovered once the chemistry itself needs replenishing.

Not only were we able to reduce the disposal costs of the waste cyanide, which is the key hazardous chemical found in the majority of electroplating solutions, but our innovative precious metal recovery method allowed us to return 98% of the gold recovered back to the delighted client: “We decided at the beginning of the year to relocate to a larger site to keep up with the growing demand for our electroplating services and All Waste Matters were a huge help as it wasn’t until the last minute we realised the spent plating solution hadn’t been collected for recycling. Having located them on the internet and seeing the positive reviews I was impressed to hear there would be no collection fee and the cyanide treatment charges were over £500 cheaper than I’d previously been paying. Finally the precious metal return percentage was far higher than anything I had previously been offered, which has added up to a small fortune over the last 12 months.”

Amalgam Waste Recycling

All Waste Matters are pleased to have renewed their waste amalgam recycling contract to a leading London based dental surgery for a further 3 years.

At a time of increased prices we have managed to buck the trend and now offer cheaper waste amalgam disposal prices than last year, making us one of the most value for money amalgam recyclers in Europe.

A spokesperson for the highly rated dental surgery stated: “It was really refreshing that during these difficult times for businesses and increasing service charges, that a company is thinking of its customers and passing on savings. The waste amalgam is always collected at the agreed time and payment is certainly faster than anything I had experienced previously.”

Kent based All Waste Matters are now offering new and existing customers waste amalgam treatment prices fixed for 3 years. This fee covers all Environment Agency fees, documentation, mercury disposal and precious metal refining costs. We then return to you 100% of any precious metals recovered by way of cheque, bank transfer or even Bullion, which in recent times has proved to be an excellent investment opportunity.

Precious Metal Recovery

The Nanotechnology department of a University were looking for precious metal recovery of the gold material accumulating on the chamber of their deposition systems.

A University spokeperson told us: “Over the past 2 years we have experienced a great surge in students taking up our courses and so our costs of operating the deposition systems have rocketed with the amount of Gold we’re now buying in. We also started getting inconsistent results with the chamber so I thought I’d give All Waste Matters a call to see about the feasibility of refining this gold as it was only in small quantities. They explained the chamber would need the gold chipping off as it was this build up that was causing the problems. Also to my relief I learned they had no minimum precious metal refining charges and we arranged a collection there and then. We have only used them once so far as it’s only a twice yearly job but they did exactly as they said they would and I certainly wouldn’t be looking anywhere else next time.”

Precious Metal Recycling

Many industries from Jewellery manufactures, electroplating companies and many more are now benefitting from a higher percentage return on their scrap sent to us for precious metal refining.

A start up jewellery manufacturer appointed All Waste Matters for their precious metal recovery at the start of last year to refine their scrap gold and scrap platinum:  “Rather than offering a confusing price per gram refining charge, assay charges and then an agreed percentage return, All Waste Matters simplified the whole process by just offering us a flat percentage return. This makes all of our transactions completely transparent making it easy to see we’re getting the best value for money. Obviously with the high precious metals prices the raw gold and platinum we buy in is extremely expensive so we needed to ensure our precious metal recovery is carried out efficiently and quickly. The collections are free of charge and the turnaround is within 7 working days which really helps our cash flow.”

All Waste Matters have reduced their precious metal recycling rates, ensuring we remain one of the most competitive precious metal refiners in the business. Precious metal recycling is big business with prices for Gold having increased by 394% from December 2000 to October 2010 so it is now more important than ever to ensure your precious metal refining is carried out by experts. Cleaning Waste Chemical Disposal

A national oven cleaning franchise is now recommending All Waste Matters to all operatives for their cleaning chemicals disposal.

An owner of one of these up and coming companies confirmed: “As an environmentally conscious company we use the friendliest oven cleaning chemicals available. However having taken advise from the Environment Agency we found that the waste was classified as hazardous and would need to be collected and treated by a licensed waste management company. Following a meeting with All Waste Matters it was agreed that they would supply empty containers to store the waste cleaning chemicals free of charge and the treatment charges seemed more than reasonable. The collection drivers have been extremely helpful and it’s nice to pass on the peace of mind to our customers that we’re all doing our bit for the environment by using such a professional company.”

As part of our on going policy to provide a superior hazardous waste recycling service, we are now offering free site surveys to all existing and prospective customers. To find out more please contact us today.
